Deep Recording Trust established an independently managed non-profit training facility in 1999 after rebuilding the original studios based here since 1993.The Deep Recording Trust is a nationally recognised City & Guilds (C&G) training centre and the first C&G UK centre in 2006 to have been fully approved for the new C&G 7503-01, 02 & 03 Levels in the fully updated Sound Engineering & Music Technology Diplomas and certificates. The organisation and the educational recording facilities are independently managed, administered and serviced to an exceptionally high standard.

All training courses are fully approved by the Learning & Skills Council (LSC), Joint Audio & Media Education Services (JAMES), City & Guilds Institute, Kensington & Chelsea College,Ofsted,Creative and Cultural Skills (CCS) and Skillset. All training and practical lessons are conducted at deep with small focussed class sizes.

The charitable training program operates from a fully designed industry standard recording facility based in West London. The recording studios were demolished and totally rebuilt and redesigned to the highest technical speciifications required on the current site (Notting Dale Village) during 1998-1999 and are based in the West London area within easy reach of Notting Hill, Holland Park, Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush, Westfield shopping Complex and the A40 motorway. Latimer Road Tube station (Hammersmith & City Line) and TFL Bus routes of 295 & 316 are just a 2 minute walk and within easy access. See map here

Deep Recording Trust independently manage and run a non-profit training program providing industry standard recording facilities and services for all individuals wishing to train, update and learn the employable skills required for all sound and music recording industries. We deliver small class sizes and advanced hands-on, practical training in all aspects of sound recording, engineering, music and studio technology, production, mixing and mastering techniques.

Our charitable organisation employ trained and experienced industry staff who are CRB approved and licenced to teach. All working engineers and staff at deep are MPG/PRS/APRS members (see below). All staff are contantly improving their own development via CPD programs and whose vast specialised knowledge is verified by the quality recorded output of all of our educational work and our monitored examination outputs. Verified course pass record rates of over 95% year in year out, seeing most trainees conclude their specialised study at deep with regular credits and distinctions. Deep have many referrals highlighting our expertise as a complete supportive and approved development service for all your skills and training requirements. Enrolling open for new applications All courses are free to Under 19's including 4, 6 and 12 month course part time study. Apply now for 2 years free studio training and FE certified education. You can also qualify for a Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of £30 per week.

Another excellent evening of celebrating the UK's finest recording professionals at the 2010 MPG Producer awards held at the Cafe de Paris London 11.02.00 with MPG Producer of the Year this year being won by the excellent  Pual Epworth (Florence and the machine) Paul also picks up the BRITS best producer award 2010.
